Chad Smith

Chad is a graduate of Appalachian State University. Upon deciding to stay in the High Country, he started his own insurance company in 2002.   He decided to transfer to the financial services industry in 2008 before becoming part of the LifeStore team in 2009.   

Chad and his family reside in Boone, N.C. where he is an active member of his community. He has served on several local committees and is a past board member of the Boone Chamber of Commerce.  He is a founding member and past Chairman of the Board for The High Country Young Professionals.  Most recently he finished his tenure as a board member and past Chairman for the Watauga Education Foundation.  He enjoys spending his free time with his family and coaching youth sports.
